Responsibilities
- Coordinate and create Eggplant automation test scripts in collaboration with clients, work streams, teams, and Oracle Health.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated testing strategies.
- Create, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts, schedules, frameworks, and architectures using Eggplant.
- Understand application architecture, test environments, and test data requirements.
- Conduct positive, negative, validation, regression, and other product testing.
- Analyze requirements, identify and disposition defects, and follow testing standards and processes.
- Write detailed test plans, test cases, status reports, test execution reports, and test analysis reports.
- Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures for health information technology systems.
- Provide testing subject-matter expertise for complex to highly complex software and hardware health IT applications.
- Collaborate with VA EHRM customers, teammates, VA project teams, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with clinical software testing and leading test efforts.
- 3-4 years of experience as a test automation engineer using test management tools and automation frameworks, specifically Eggplant.
- Knowledge of the Oracle Health Millennium healthcare domain.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical workflows, policies, procedures, patient care, and clinical business processes.
- Broad and comprehensive experience across the software testing lifecycle, including test plans, test cases, test reports, status communication, and defect presentation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a thorough government background screening, including detailed forms and fingerprinting.
- Experience with Eggplant, Microsoft Office, Oracle Health Millennium, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience with VA electronic health records, clinical settings, clinical workflows, or VA healthcare software applications is preferred.
- Experience with Agile, OpenText Application Lifecycle Management, OpenText Unified Functional Testing, and risk-based testing methodologies is preferred.
