Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AWS-based cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Create reusable internal platform capabilities to enhance engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with product engineering to develop scalable platform solutions.
- Evaluate system interactions and drive improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Define and promote platform practices such as SLOs and incident response.
- Instrument and debug services and infrastructure, including TypeScript services.
- Lead technical initiatives from problem definition to delivery.
- Mentor engineers on building reliable and scalable systems.
- Participate in on-call and incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Deep AWS experience in production environments.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and system design.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred).
- Strong programming skills with the ability to debug production systems (TypeScript a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
- Ability to reason across complex systems and understand cross-component interactions.
- Experience leading technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
