Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build data infrastructure and platforms using Apache Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams.
- Build Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines for comprehensive data operations.
- Architect, develop, and implement large-scale data applications.
- Support cloud-native software environments and customer-facing Department of Defense data-platform initiatives.
- Work on-site in Dayton, OH, or Tampa, FL, with up to 25% travel as needed.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on relevant industry experience.
- Experience with large-scale relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience or knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio and enterprise cloud applications or infrastructure.
- Experience with Python or GoLang for automation.
- Experience with data management, including ETL processing, data governance, and data storage.
- Experience building and releasing software in cloud-native environments.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, and NPM.
- Deep knowledge of software design and architecture patterns.
- Ability to obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes; fault-tolerant, data-intensive platforms using Kafka, Pinot, or Flink; Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, Kibana, or Loki; and Helm Charts.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to work within the continental United States are required.
