Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise application, integration, database, and data architectures.
- Architect APIs, connectors, integration flows, service bus solutions, and hybrid cloud/on-premises integrations.
- Translate business, user, and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures.
- Define architecture standards, principles, patterns, models, and technical documentation for the Enterprise Architecture repository.
- Evaluate and select integration platforms, cloud solutions, container technologies, and serverless approaches.
- Provide technical direction to development teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, including development, testing, quality assurance, and change management.
- Assess and optimise solutions for performance, security, capacity, scalability, and quality using metrics and architecture reviews.
- Present architecture decisions and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders using recognised modelling approaches and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional IT experience, including at least 5 years in an Application, Integration, or Enterprise Architecture role.
- Proficiency in English demonstrated through a recognised language certification.
- Experience serving as a key architect in implementing at least one enterprise-wide integration platform, with expert knowledge of API, data, and systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of TIBCO or MuleSoft, SOA, databases, application servers, communication middleware, web applications, cloud integration patterns, and SDLC.
- Experience with integration patterns, architecture styles and standards, hybrid cloud/on-premises environments, serverless and containerisation technologies, and DevSecOps.
- Proficiency in UML and ArchiMate, with practical experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or an equivalent modelling tool.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, or Azure Well-Architected Framework is advantageous.
- At least two relevant certifications, including options such as Iasa Architect CIT-A, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, TIBCO Certified Associate, Certified SOA Architect, or an internationally recognised equivalent.
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
