Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
- Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
- Oversee multiple parallel projects and set technical direction for multiple teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience focused on backend architecture, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.
- At least 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing or launching software products.
- Experience operating as a technical leader overseeing multiple parallel projects and setting technical direction for multiple teams.
- Preferred master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred 5 years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction, including 3 years in a complex, matrixed organization with cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model interfaces into workflows.
- Experience managing complex authentication systems, token handling, and legacy user migrations.
- Deep expertise in health data systems, data reconciliation, and wearable device integrations.
- Strong background developing and optimizing automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and developer productivity tools.
