Responsibilities
- Define and communicate architecture strategies and roadmaps for platform modernization, consolidation, and rationalization.
- Align technology initiatives and architectural direction with business and customer outcomes.
- Lead solution design, architecture reviews, governance, and key technology decisions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and adoption opportunities for leadership.
- Support data, analytics, AI, and automation initiatives using scalable, secure, and reusable architecture patterns.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Business teams.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads and promote engineering excellence, design thinking, and shared ownership.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of enterprise, solution development, or domain architecture experience, including significant ownership of complex, distributed, data-intensive systems.
- Strong technical depth and practical engineering experience, including participation in design and code reviews and evaluation of implementation trade-offs.
- Experience with technology transformation and governance.
- In-depth understanding of secure, resilient, multi-region cloud architecture and operations; Google Cloud experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of AI, analytics, cloud, integration, data, application, platform, API, event-driven, and distributed-system architectures.
- Experience with modern cloud, data processing, integration, messaging, analytics, and information-management technologies; Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, and Elasticsearch are beneficial.
- Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, secure coding, observability, incident learning, and operational readiness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and languages relevant to the working market where applicable.
