Responsibilities
- Lead domain-level technical initiatives and resolve complex technical problems while remaining hands-on in the codebase.
- Define technical direction, produce architecture, and oversee the technical quality of new and existing technologies.
- Own technical alignment across the Talent Profile, Company Profile, and Salary Products engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and engineering and product leaders to simplify domain complexity and evolve the ecosystem.
- Serve as a technical escalation point and drive engineering maturity, delivery speed, quality, and performance.
- Mentor engineers, lead the engineering community, and foster knowledge sharing, innovation, and engineering culture.
- Strengthen architectural, engineering, and security health across the domain and portfolio.
Requirements
- Staff-level software engineering experience with deep expertise in .NET and React.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, production-grade systems using A/B testing.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems on AWS.
- Experience with secure development, data protection, compliance, and enterprise architecture.
- Strong frontend expertise in component architecture, design systems, responsive design, accessibility, WCAG, and client-side state management.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise or SaaS web platforms using microservices and micro-frontends.
- Knowledge of web performance, including Core Web Vitals, rendering, code splitting, and CDN usage.
- Experience with API integration, REST, OpenAI, Bedrock, and service scalability and resilience.
- Expertise in LLM-powered web system design, including state, caching, guardrails, and observability.
- Strong communication skills and experience mentoring engineers and setting technical direction across teams.
