Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise UI architecture vision, roadmap, standards, principles, coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Design scalable front-end architectures for customer-facing and internal digital platforms.
- Review solution designs and provide architectural governance across programs and projects.
- Lead technical decisions involving front-end frameworks, state management, API integration, deployment strategies, and composable architectures.
- Drive responsive, accessible, mobile-first, customer-centric digital experiences in partnership with UX and Product teams.
- Guide engineering teams through architectural implementation, technical challenges, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
- Establish testing, observability, quality engineering, maintainability, scalability, and resilience practices for UI applications.
- Define integration patterns between UI channels and backend services, including authentication and authorization standards.
- Support integrations with CMS, DAM, analytics, personalization, search, API, platform, cloud, and security systems.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements through secure-by-design practices.
- Mentor senior engineers, technical leads, and solution architects and lead architecture communities of practice and technical forums.
- Influence engineering roadmaps, technology investment decisions, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant focus on front-end technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in an architecture or technical leadership role.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale web platforms and digital experiences.
- Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures, headless CMS architectures, design systems, component libraries, and domain-driven design concepts.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and enterprise SSO solutions.
- Knowledge of web accessibility and WCAG, Core Web Vitals, automated testing frameworks, performance monitoring, and observability.
- Preferred experience in financial services, banking, asset management, or other regulated industries.
- Preferred experience with Adobe Experience Manager, enterprise digital transformation programs, content platforms, personalization engines, analytics solutions, search technologies, and enterprise-wide UI governance models.
