Responsibilities
- Design and develop a state-of-the-art electronic FX Options Trading platform.
- Build RFQ workflows, real-time streaming pricing engines and displays, volatility-surface and market-data tools, and a structured-product pricing workbench.
- Collaborate with developers, quants, and traders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Develop high-performance, scalable, and intuitive web user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Contribute to development, deployment, testing, resiliency, performance profiling, and telemetry improvements.
- Mentor other developers and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- Advanced hands-on UI/UX development experience with React and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of real-time data applications using REST APIs, WebSockets, or middleware such as Solace, Kafka, or TIBCO.
- Proficiency in modern software engineering practices, automated testing, application resiliency, performance profiling, and telemetry.
- Professional experience with Angular or Vue.js is also considered.
- Interest or experience with agentic AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Devin is desirable.
- Familiarity with OpenFin or interoperability libraries is desirable.
- Backend development experience in Java, C#/.NET, or Python is desirable.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes is desirable.
- Prior finance experience is a plus, but not required.
