Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical and strategic direction of the XiP Compute Service.
- Design, develop, and implement the next-generation XiP Risk Calculation Engine and platform capabilities.
- Solve large-scale distributed-computing and resource-efficiency challenges while preserving platform performance.
- Partner with stakeholders, product owners, end users, and senior clients to define requirements and technical solutions.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage the project backlog, prioritize work, and coordinate delivery against the product roadmap.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture decisions, coding standards, code reviews, and quality practices.
- Mentor and coach developers, allocate work, oversee delivery, and support team members’ career development.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience with Java or Python.
- Significant experience with Java or Python frameworks and tooling such as Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Flask, FastAPI, or Pydantic.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
