Base Salary
$111k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide technical support for manufacturing software systems, including MES integrations, SCADA platforms, SQL Server databases, and factory applications.
- Design and maintain database structures, data pipelines, application integrations, and software solutions supporting digital factory initiatives.
- Create system designs, architecture artifacts, interface specifications, UML diagrams, technical documentation, development standards, and support procedures.
- Troubleshoot software and system issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize manufacturing downtime.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data integrations for manufacturing operations and analytics.
- Support software deployments, configuration updates, system integrations, application enhancements, validation, verification, and change control in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, IT, and Production teams and investigate the use of AI tools to accelerate development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5–8 years of related experience, or a master's degree and 2–5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 0–2 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting manufacturing or industrial software systems, including experience with SCADA, LabVIEW applications, C#, or database-driven applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management, with familiarity with relational databases, software deployment tools, system monitoring, and version-control practices.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments, including GMP, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and ISA-95.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11 and experience with software validation and verification of automated factory-floor systems are preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, communication, organization, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Experience collaborating with IT, R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
