Base Salary
$111k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide software development and technical support for manufacturing systems, including MES integrations, SCADA platforms, SQL Server databases, and factory applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain database structures, data pipelines, application integrations, and other digital factory software solutions.
- Create system designs and architecture artifacts, including UML diagrams, interface specifications, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot software-related production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize manufacturing downtime.
- Develop SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and data integrations supporting manufacturing operations and analytics.
- Support software deployments, configuration updates, system integrations, application enhancements, validation, verification, and change control in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, IT, and Production teams and investigate AI tools that may accelerate development work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing or industrial software systems, such as SCADA, LabVIEW applications, C#, or database-driven applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management, with familiarity with relational databases.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
- Understanding of manufacturing and production environments, including GMP, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
- Familiarity with software deployment tools, system monitoring, version control practices, and cross-functional engineering support.
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing standards including ISA-95 and FDA regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11.
- Experience with software validation and verification of automated systems on the factory floor is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5–8 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 2–5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 0–2 years of experience.
