Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for low-power wireless MCUs and SDKs.
  • Own hardware feature support across the IC lifecycle, including design, pre-silicon verification, post-silicon verification, release, and long-term support.
  • Build low-level firmware components including device drivers, initialization and startup code, timing-sensitive system software, and radio control features.
  • Optimize embedded software for performance, reliability, power efficiency, and memory and CPU utilization.
  • Debug complex issues across software, firmware, hardware, and system boundaries using lab tools and debuggers.
  • Collaborate with hardware, silicon, systems, and product teams on requirements, design reviews, and new-device bring-up.
  • Contribute to automated testing, validation, and development tooling.
  • Participate in code and design reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional embedded software or firmware development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Embedded C and/or C++.
  • Experience developing microcontroller software in resource-constrained, real-time environments using bare metal and/or RTOS-based systems.
  • Hands-on hardware/software debugging experience with debuggers, JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
  • Experience with low-level embedded software such as device drivers, interrupts, peripheral interfaces, timing-sensitive code, or memory-constrained systems.
  • Experience taking features from design through implementation, testing, and release.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience includes Bluetooth LE, Zigbee, Thread, Wi-Fi, proprietary radio systems, communication stacks, radio control software, PHY/MAC functionality, low-power optimization, SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, timers, automated testing, CI, validation frameworks, hardware-in-the-loop testing, silicon bring-up, multicore microcontrollers, concurrency, synchronization, shared-resource challenges, and ARM or RISC-V assembly.
  • Preferred experience also includes Python or similar scripting languages and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT.

Benefits

  • Equity rewards in the form of RSUs.
  • Insurance plans with outpatient coverage.
  • National Pension Scheme (NPS).
  • Flexible work policy.
  • Childcare support.
  • Work with a collaborative embedded, firmware, silicon, systems, and test team on foundational wireless technology.
  • Candidates with deeper experience may be considered for a higher level within the team.
