Responsibilities
- Develop and commercialize ML solutions such as the Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine SDK on Qualcomm SoCs.
- Develop software features across the machine learning stack and enable AI/ML solutions on multiple platforms.
- Deploy large C/C++ dependency stacks using software engineering best practices.
- Enhance Qualcomm's on-device ML solutions from both software engineering and machine learning perspectives.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers on system-level software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 1+ year or a PhD in a related field.
- At least 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 3-7 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong C and C++ development skills and experience with embedded systems development.
- Strong understanding of processor architecture, system design fundamentals, and operating-system concepts.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, presentation, and written skills.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns is preferred.
- Linux kernel or driver development experience is preferred.
