Responsibilities
- Lead software requirement analysis and define customer-specific amplifier features.
- Own application-software architecture and ensure scalability, reusability, and alignment with product-line strategy.
- Review system and software architecture documents and guide internal teams in implementation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and other in-vehicle LAN specifications.
- Lead technical discussions with OEM customers and internal teams regarding requirements, feasibility, and solutions.
- Conduct amplifier performance and functional feasibility assessments and maintain customer requirement documentation.
- Lead and participate in C/C++ coding, peer reviews, and design reviews.
- Guide junior engineers in coding, debugging, and documentation practices.
- Plan and execute unit-level, amplifier-level, and vehicle-level software validation and integration testing.
- Perform deep debugging and root-cause analysis involving software, hardware, and vehicle interfaces.
- Lead software functionality evaluations, continuous improvements, and software process improvement initiatives.
- Support project planning, scheduling, risk management, and leadership of technical workstreams or software sub-projects.
Requirements
- Experience leading software requirements, architecture, development, testing, integration, and debugging for amplifier or comparable embedded software.
- Strong C/C++ programming and software design-review experience.
- Expertise in in-vehicle LAN communications, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Ability to collaborate with OEM customers and cross-functional internal teams on technical requirements and feasibility.
- Experience with software validation, vehicle-level integration testing, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis across software, hardware, and vehicle interfaces.
- Ability to guide junior engineers and contribute to software process and product-line framework improvements.
