Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain server-side code and middleware systems for GenAI-powered developer tools interacting with large language models.
- Own moderately complex projects or major features end to end, from technical design and scoping through implementation, launch, and production support.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, SREs, and engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Author and present detailed design documents and participate in design and code reviews.
- Promote code quality, test coverage, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience developing, training, or applying machine learning models.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred experience includes accessible technologies, Integrated Development Environments, and enterprise software.
