Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing and develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Apply decision table, state transition, error guessing, exploratory, boundary value, and equivalence partitioning techniques.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, end-to-end, verification, and validation testing.
- Analyze test results, report defects, troubleshoot issues with developers, and verify fixes.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python.
- Perform mobile device testing across applicable devices, operating systems, screen sizes, and configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing, verification, and validation.
- Strong experience with scenario-based manual testing and test design techniques.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Playwright automation using Python is an added advantage.
- Experience with Python and pytest is an added advantage.
- Experience in mobile device testing is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, software testing lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 medical device development standards.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and workload management skills.
