Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable IBM App Connect Enterprise integration solutions using message routing, transformation, and service orchestration.
- Install, administer, optimize, monitor, and capacity-plan distributed IBM MQ queue managers and infrastructure, including hub-and-spoke and clustered architectures.
- Implement high availability, failover, backup, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and resilience practices for mission-critical messaging systems.
- Secure integrations through TLS/SSL, certificate and token management, channel authentication, authorization, encryption, and access controls.
- Implement and manage IBM MQ Managed File Transfer for automated, auditable, and encrypted file exchanges.
- Perform production incident resolution, root cause analysis, diagnostic investigation, and performance tuning while participating in 24/7 rotational on-call support.
- Automate configuration, deployment, monitoring, and routine operations using Ansible and scripting languages.
- Maintain operational documentation and follow change, release, configuration management, audit, risk, compliance, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, operations teams, and business stakeholders across global, multicultural teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with continuous professional development in integration technologies.
- At least 8 years of experience administering distributed IBM MQ infrastructure, including queue manager configuration, clustering, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
- At least 6 years of experience designing and implementing IBM App Connect Enterprise integration solutions on Linux.
- In-depth knowledge of IBM MQ MFT, enterprise integration patterns, resilient messaging architectures, EAI/SOA principles, and mission-critical financial environments.
- Expertise in SSL/TLS, certificate management, authentication, authorization, encryption, access control, regulatory requirements, and internal audit controls.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, operational support, and diagnostic tools including MQSC, RFH2Util, MQEdit, QLOAD, and monitoring platforms.
- Proficiency in Shell, Perl, Python, and Ansible for infrastructure automation and operational consistency.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery, failover mechanisms, and 24/7 support of high-priority messaging systems.
- Fluent English at C1 level and strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 rotational on-call support.
- IBM MQ or IBM App Connect Enterprise certification is highly desirable.
