Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and improve a shared Kubernetes-based application hosting platform in Azure.
- Engineer platform capabilities and ensure platform stability, operability, and automated operational processes.
- Manage platform services including automated secret management, storage, and identity management for application teams.
- Migrate new applications to the public cloud and optimize existing cloud setups.
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once every two months to handle high-priority incidents.
Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes and application hosting.
- Experience with public cloud, primarily Azure.
- Knowledge of interacting with API and CLI interfaces.
- Knowledge of Golang and Bash or PowerShell.
- Curiosity about public cloud and application hosting, with a passion for learning and innovation.
- Preferred: software engineering or application design background, Pulumi knowledge or interest, platform or application security knowledge or interest, and experience in corporate or enterprise technical landscapes.
