Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, install, document, and maintain software for the Ops Suite platform.
- Resolve issues arising during software design, testing, maintenance, and production operations.
- Collaborate with engineers, business teams, customers, and operational stakeholders on project status, requirements, and solution proposals.
- Analyze user and business needs and translate them into viable software solutions.
- Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality, stable, and available software.
- Apply software development best practices and help elevate the team’s technology capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.
- Continue professional development through reading, workshops, conferences, and communities of practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field, or equivalent advanced-level experience.
- Intermediate-level experience and broad, fully functioning knowledge in software engineering.
- Intermediate knowledge of at least one programming language and software development and testing practices.
- Ability to analyze complex and ambiguous business or technical problems and recommend viable solutions.
- Ability to communicate, negotiate, and present ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and responsibilities while maintaining successful completion.
- Preferred experience developing and supporting cloud-based applications using AWS, serverless frameworks, and event-driven architecture.
- Preferred experience with multiple languages and technologies, including Python, Java, JavaScript, YAML, Bash, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies and their business or technical applications is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States, be at least 18 years old, meet attendance standards, and be able to travel as needed.
