Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performant, reliable, production-grade AI agents.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Work directly with enterprise leaders and startups to understand business challenges and build scalable AI-agent solutions.
- Build personalization, experimentation, conversational discovery, troubleshooting, and voice-agent experiences.
- Use customer insights to prototype platform tools and shape Sierra’s AI agent development product with research, product, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Builder’s mindset, high agency, and ability to overcome obstacles and ship.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excitement about the technology, media, and telecommunications space.
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred: founder or founding-engineer experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI-agent tools, evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Preferred: customer-facing experience or experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
