Responsibilities
- Harden auth infrastructure against volumetric attacks.
- Extend CloudFront WAF rules and Cloudflare Worker bot management.
- Define and implement SLOs/SLIs across the full request path.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using Datadog and PostHog.
- Collaborate with security engineering for effective defense handoffs.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and expand infrastructure-as-code.
- Proactively load-test and stress-test infrastructure.
- Enhance developer workflows for faster and more reliable deployments.
- Mentor engineers on building reliable and observable systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- Direct experience mitigating DDoS attacks and configuring edge security.
- Hands-on experience building observability systems and running incident response.
- Strong understanding of auth infrastructure under adversarial load.
- Experience with serverless architectures and managed platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Track record of collaborating with security and product engineering.
