Responsibilities
- Work with product stakeholders to understand business requirements for the Access Rights Management system.
- Design and develop platform features using Rego and Open Policy Agent.
- Implement fine-grained access-control policies and mechanisms for business applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code and Rego policies.
- Perform unit testing and maintain unit, integration, and policy test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers to deliver stories according to user-acceptance criteria.
- Review and fix code-review comments and reported bugs.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and iterative development.
- Assist with technical documentation and user guides.
- Ensure secure and auditable access-control practices across distributed systems.
Requirements
- BE, B.Tech, MCA, or an equivalent degree.
- 5 to 8 years of experience developing applications, preferably in Information Security or Identity and Access Management domains such as IAM, ILM, PAM, or IGA.
- Strong understanding of access-rights management and access-control types.
- Experience with Rego and Open Policy Agent.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth2 and JWT.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and .NET 8 or a more recent version.
- Ideally experience with Angular or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with full-stack development or frontend/backend specialization and databases.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience integrating access control into distributed or microservices-based systems using containerization and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in JSON, XML, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with Azure as a cloud platform.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform is a plus.
- Experience with Rust and additional programming languages is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a highly distributed team and continuously develop technical capabilities.
