Responsibilities
- Set the long-term architecture and technical direction for LeadSquared’s cloud infrastructure across products and environments.
- Lead migrations from the existing infrastructure estate to a standardized platform with minimal or no customer impact.
- Bring infrastructure under reviewed code using infrastructure as code, pull-request-driven changes, policy as code, drift detection, and production guardrails.
- Own compute, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms so service delivery and tenant onboarding are self-service.
- Define SLOs, own observability, lead major incidents and postmortems, and regularly test disaster recovery.
- Enforce least-privilege access, secrets management, encryption by default, and automated audit evidence collection.
- Manage cloud cost visibility and optimization across products, tenants, and services.
- Mentor engineers, represent CloudOps to product teams, and reduce operational toil through automation.
- Participate in on-call and incident commander rotations and deliver reliability, change-safety, and developer-experience improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering with ownership of production systems at meaningful scale.
- Deep hands-on AWS expertise covering multi-account organizations, networking, IAM, compute, containers, managed data services, and edge delivery.
- Expert-level infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or equivalent tools, including reusable modules and multi-environment code structure.
- Expert-level production Kubernetes experience, including upgrades, autoscaling, networking, RBAC, and debugging under pressure.
- Production experience with CI/CD and GitOps practices.
- Experience running and migrating a large existing production estate rather than only building greenfield environments.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in at least one language and the ability to build production-grade tooling.
- Experience leading incidents, writing postmortems, and delivering resulting reliability improvements.
- Ability to write clear technical documents and influence decisions across teams without formal authority.
- Preferred: experience with highly available, active-active, or disaster recovery cloud architectures.
- Preferred: experience leading large-scale migrations such as virtual machines to containers with minimal customer impact.
- Preferred: experience building observability practices with SLOs and error budgets.
- Preferred: experience with policy as code and software supply chain security.
- Preferred: experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, tenant isolation, per-tenant routing, and capacity management.
- Preferred: FinOps experience with measurable cloud cost reductions.
- Preferred: open-source infrastructure contributions or public speaking and writing on platform engineering.
