Base Salary
$181k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work on impactful customer technical projects, including designing and building reference architectures.
- Collaborate with engagement managers to scope professional services work based on customer input.
- Guide customers in implementing transformational big data projects and 3rd party migrations.
- Consult on architecture and design, leading to successful customer adoption of Databricks.
- Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure delivery of engagement components.
- Work with Engineering and Customer Support to resolve product and implementation issues.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
- Proficient in coding with Python or Scala.
- Knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
- Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
- Working knowledge of MLOps.
- Experience in designing and deploying end-to-end data architectures.
- Strong project delivery skills, managing scope and timelines.
- Excellent documentation and white-boarding skills.
- Experience in client management and conflict resolution.
- Willingness to travel to customers 20% of the time.
- Databricks Certification is a plus.
