Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and scale software services for AWS network fabric across multiple global data centers.
- Design and deliver high-quality, extensible software for performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot network issues and support the operation of data-center network services.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and manage customer issues during problem resolution.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and influence technical decisions across organizations.
- Travel to data-center, network, Amazon, or customer sites as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Base salary ranges from $168,100 to $261,500 annually depending on location, with sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
