Base Salary

$168k - $262k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and scale software services for AWS network fabric across multiple global data centers.
  • Design and deliver high-quality, extensible software for performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and support the operation of data-center network services.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and manage customer issues during problem resolution.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and influence technical decisions across organizations.
  • Travel to data-center, network, Amazon, or customer sites as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Benefits

  • Base salary ranges from $168,100 to $261,500 annually depending on location, with sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
