Base Salary

$150k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Ship end-to-end features spanning data ingestion, detection systems, automated patch generation, verification, and the user-facing product.
Build and maintain reproduction logic, guardrails, and checks that protect customer repositories from bad pull requests.
Move independently from customer problems to shipped solutions without formal specifications or sign-off.
Work directly with customers by reviewing traces, joining communication channels, and proactively surfacing issues.
Make architectural decisions involving schema design, service boundaries, and speed-versus-correctness tradeoffs.
Define foundational engineering practices for testing, on-call operations, and release criteria.

Have 3+ years of experience shipping production software and the ability to work across multiple specialties.
Demonstrate strong TypeScript proficiency across frontend and core services; the entire codebase is TypeScript.
Be comfortable working with high-volume event data while balancing cost per event and correctness.
Have experience designing and optimizing data pipelines and production systems with observability and monitoring.
Have hands-on experience building and operating AI agents in production and understanding their failure modes.
Demonstrate strong product sense and the ability to solve open-ended problems without provided designs.
Have experience making architectural decisions that shape long-term system design.
Be comfortable working directly with customers to understand production failures and requirements.
Experience with pull-request review automation, code quality tooling, or early-stage founding-team environments is a bonus.

Salary range is $150,000 to $200,000 USD annually, with expected equity.
This is an on-site role in San Francisco, California, requiring work from the office six days per week.
