Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and launch a consumer membership web application on Shopify and Recharge.
- Own ongoing maintenance, improvements, performance optimization, page speed, bundle size, and third-party script and pixel behavior.
- Configure tracking and consent tools to support CPRA and other privacy requirements.
- Own engineering architecture, infrastructure, stack choices, security, vendor and contractor decisions, and membership-platform databases.
- Lead iOS-first development of a consumer-facing React Native app after the membership MVP ships.
- Build and deploy unattended LLM-powered agents and internal tools with evaluations, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
- Use AI, automation, and low-code tools to reduce manual operational work across the company.
- Partner directly with the CEO on high-priority product and infrastructure problems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience shipping consumer products to production.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React with shipped production applications.
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js and a record of production-grade code.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and Recharge integrations.
- Experience building and shipping consumer-facing React Native apps, ideally with an iOS-first focus.
- Expertise in web performance optimization, including page speed, bundle size, and third-party script management.
- Experience making architectural decisions involving databases, security, vendor selection, and engineering stack choices.
- Experience implementing tracking, consent-management, and CPRA- or GDPR-related privacy tooling.
- Familiarity with building and deploying LLM-powered agents or AI automation tools, including monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics, or equivalent demonstrated experience shipping software products.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias toward ownership and execution.
