Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the development team through software design, development, documentation, testing, modification, and delivery of new and existing applications.
- Create low-level designs, engineering specifications, code, system documentation, and operations documentation.
- Participate in architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy-versus-build decisions.
- Partner with business and project teams to gather requirements, plan development, track status, and manage dependencies and risks.
- Lead code reviews and ensure code meets development standards, specifications, and unit-testing requirements.
- Support quality assurance by identifying test cases, creating or mining test data, and resolving testing issues.
- Approve code for production and provide implementation and production support.
- Provide technical leadership, oversight, mentorship, governance, and standards guidance to development teams and vendor resources.
- Conduct asset health and security assessments and improve system performance, reliability, and resource consumption.
- Troubleshoot production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and determine corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain productive relationships with business partners and project teams and advise on development tools, best practices, and asset investments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including 7 or more years coding or designing in multiple programming languages.
- At least 7 years of practical experience designing and building complex software applications in multiple environments.
- Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partner resources.
- Preferred experience includes 7–10 years in technology or software development with increasing complexity and responsibility.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise-level application design, strong analytical and business skills, advanced technical communication, and expert application of technology and engineering knowledge.
- Preferred database experience includes Oracle, SQL Server, T-SQL, procedures, tables, table variables, functions, views, indexes, CTEs, temporary tables, linked servers, SQL scripts, maintenance plans, scheduled jobs, dynamic SQL, complex queries, stored procedures, and sequences.

- Estimated base salary is $131,700–$181,000 per year, with potential variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and long-term incentives.
