Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead software development teams through application design, development, documentation, testing, modification, and delivery.
- Create low-level designs, engineering specifications, code, system documentation, and operations documentation.
- Participate in architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy-versus-build decisions.
- Lead code reviews, ensure unit testing, support quality assurance testing, and approve code for production.
- Provide mentorship, governance oversight, technical leadership, and development standards guidance to employees, contractors, and vendor partners.
- Evaluate system interrelationships, address failure scenarios, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct asset health and security assessments and identify improvements to performance, reliability, and resource consumption.
- Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to gather requirements, plan development work, and communicate project status, dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience, including 7 or more years coding and/or designing in multiple programming languages.
- At least 7 years of practical experience designing and building complex software applications across multiple environments.
- Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partner resources.
- Proven success designing complex enterprise-level software applications with increasing complexity and responsibility.
- Strong analytical, business, technical communication, and technology/engineering skills.
- Extensive experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and T-SQL, including procedures, tables, table variables, user functions, views, indexes, CTEs, and temporary tables.
- Experience with SQL scripts, linked servers, maintenance plans, jobs, job scheduling, dynamic SQL, sequences, complex queries, inline queries, stored procedures, and functions.
