Responsibilities
- Improve the lifecycle of microservices from design to operation.
- Define, evolve, and manage service level objectives (SLOs).
- Write code and automation to enhance efficiency and security.
- Scale systems sustainably through automation.
- Facilitate blame-free root cause analysis meetings.
- Participate in global incident response coordination.
- Drive root cause identification and issue resolution.
- Work in a fast-paced iterative environment.
Requirements
- Experience in cloud-native application development.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across technology stacks.
- Deep understanding of AWS Networking, Compute, and Storage services.
- Competency with CI/CD tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Experience with full lifecycle support of services.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Ability to write production-ready code in Java, Scala, or Go.
- Experience with Linux systems and command line.
- Knowledge of modern cloud-native software security.
- Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
- Flexibility to take on new roles and responsibilities.
- Willingness to learn and use Sumo Logic products.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 6+ years of industry experience.
