Base Salary
$75k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, development, and IT teams to translate hardware, software, user-story, and acceptance-criteria requirements into comprehensive testing activities.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for hardware, software, and integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, non-functional, performance, security, usability, and user acceptance testing.
- Lead ServiceNow SAM Pro testing for software discovery, reconciliation, license compliance, optimization recommendations, entitlements, contracts, financial data, usage data, and reporting.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira or ServiceNow ITSM, and provide test-progress and product-quality reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to automated test scripts, frameworks, and pipeline integration where applicable.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience is required; a bachelor's degree in an applicable field may substitute for 5 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or software/hardware testing is required.
- Hands-on experience testing both hardware and software systems and their interdependencies is required.
- At least 2 years of dedicated ServiceNow testing experience, including ServiceNow SAM Pro, is required.
- Knowledge of ITAM principles and functional, non-functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT methodologies is required.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and test-management or defect-tracking tools such as Jira and ServiceNow ITSM is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow CIS-SAM or CSA certification, ITIL Foundation certification, test automation experience, Python, Selenium, Robot Framework, Postman/Newman, JavaScript, PowerShell, SQL, and government-contracting experience.
