Responsibilities

Assess requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide feedback.
Create and obtain approval for traceability matrices, functional and integration test plans, test cases, test data, and expected results.
Execute functional and integration test plans and report, triage, and monitor defects.
Collect and report quality metrics for each release.
Identify test cases for automation and create automation scripts using approved tools and standards.
Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and communicate impacts.
Maintain business and client relationships and support enterprise SQA initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or commensurate selection-criteria experience.
Experience in software quality assurance or testing within moderate- to large-scale, multi-platform environments.
Experience identifying, defining, and quantifying problems, interpreting data, and developing solutions for moderate to complex issues.
Strong analytical skills and experience implementing and managing software quality assurance metrics.
Ability to develop moderate to complex test plans and test cases and understand functional, integration, data, and security testing disciplines.
Ability to translate technical specifications into non-technical business language.
Experience or proficiency with technical writing, flow charting, process modeling, data comparison or validation tools, SQL tools, and test automation scripting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
Preferred certifications include CSTE, CSQA, ISTQB CTFL, ASQ CQIA, and CSTP.

Office-based work setting with extended hours during peak workloads or special projects and occasional after-hours work.
No travel required.
