Base Salary

$197k - $345k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end architecture, canonical data model, telemetry taxonomy, destination consolidation, and 18-month roadmap for the AgentExchange data platform.
  • Define streaming and batch ingestion, schema governance, data contracts, and pipeline reliability SLOs across AgentExchange engineering teams.
  • Build self-service analytics and dashboards for partner, customer, marketplace, GMV, attrition, installation, search, and effort-score metrics using Data 360 and Tableau Next.
  • Lead feature-store, training, serving, evaluation, and monitoring infrastructure and sponsor the Lead Scoring Model and future predictive surfaces.
  • Architect an LLM- and agent-native data layer using MCP servers, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, prompt and context engineering, and evaluation harnesses.
  • Set standards for PII handling, multi-tenant isolation, fine-grained access, GDPR and CCPA compliance, auditability, and privacy for LLM and agent surfaces.
  • Represent data architecture in VAT and cross-organizational reviews and align Platform Services, Search & Personalization, and Partner Experience on shared standards.
  • Drive pipeline migration with zero disruption to production pipelines or partner analytics.
  • Mentor the Data Engineering & Analytics organization and develop senior individual contributors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software or data engineering experience, including multi-year ownership of an enterprise-scale data or ML platform.
  • Deep architecture experience in at least three areas including lakehouse or warehouse design, streaming and batch pipelines, dimensional and event modeling, feature stores, and model serving.
  • Experience with cloud-native data infrastructure such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks on AWS-based platforms.
  • Production experience with RAG, embeddings and vector stores, prompt and context engineering, offline and online evaluation, cost and latency tuning, and hallucination and safety controls.
  • Working knowledge of MCP or equivalent tool and agent protocols, with a clear approach to exposing data to agents safely.
  • Expertise in PII classification, multi-tenant isolation, fine-grained access control, GDPR and CCPA, lineage, audit, and LLM or agent access risks.
  • Track record representing a technical domain in cross-organizational architecture forums and influencing teams without direct management authority.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including defending architecture to CTO-level stakeholders and explaining trade-offs to product managers.
  • Related technical degree required.
  • Preferred experience includes Salesforce Data 360, Tableau Next, Slack, MuleSoft data integration, marketplace or e-commerce data, large-scale migrations, NPS and effort-score measurement, privacy-preserving ML, agent evaluation frameworks, LLM observability, and Salesforce Platform features.

Benefits

  • Base salary is listed at $197,300–$313,700 annually, or $237,700–$344,700 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area locations; bonus, equity, and benefits may also apply.

  • In-office expectation is 10 days per quarter to support customers and collaborate with teams.
