Base Salary
$223k - $278k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own signup-to-activation experiences end to end, including data models and user interfaces.
- Invent, prototype, and ship net-new onboarding experiences that improve activation.
- Apply AI thoughtfully across onboarding and integrate experiences across web, SMS, WhatsApp, and third-party AI assistants.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Data to frame problems, test hypotheses with customers, and iterate based on measurable outcomes.
- Design modular and reusable onboarding building blocks for future entry points.
- Provide technical direction, conduct high-quality code reviews, mentor engineers, and raise engineering standards.
- Make pragmatic time-boxed scoping decisions and ship simple versions that validate ideas.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including shipping customer-facing products at scale.
- Strong full-stack fundamentals and the versatility to work across front end, back end, and data.
- Product-minded approach focused on customer problems and meaningful metrics.
- Ability to execute independently, move quickly, and iterate based on results.
- Experience applying AI/LLM capabilities to real product problems and using AI tools effectively.
- High ownership, comfort with ambiguity and greenfield work, and a bias toward action and outcomes.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentorship, and ability to establish high engineering standards.
