Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver features for Toast’s payments products.
- Develop and implement an automated test suite to ensure code quality.
- Roll out features to customers and monitor their success.
- Collaborate with UX and PM on feature definition and design.
- Partner with various teams across Toast.
- Participate in design and code reviews with experienced engineers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing robust backend services using Kotlin.
- Proven ability to develop scalable and secure APIs that integrate with various systems.
- Knowledge of best practices in API lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Kotlin-specific frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies.
