Responsibilities

  • Align cloud security strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Identify deficiencies in cloud security services and implement improvement plans.
  • Develop automation and improve AI/ML capabilities across the technology stack.
  • Evaluate and implement cloud security baselines and monitoring for compliance.
  • Document security policies, controls, processes, runbooks, and how-to guides.
  • Mentor junior cybersecurity engineers securing cloud workloads, containers, applications, and data.
  • Partner with stakeholders to prepare security technologies and functionality for production implementation.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of related experience and 8+ years of experience with public cloud environments, specifically AWS.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Additional experience with Azure, GCP, and containerization is preferred.
  • Experience with Wiz, Terraform, vulnerability management, SIEM, security baselines, and cloud and on-premises identity and access management.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53, ISO-27001, and other information-security and cloud-computing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience delivering reliable, available, and high-performance enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Programming experience in one or more of Python, C#, C++, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, and SQL.
  • Experience with Git version control, including GitHub or Bitbucket.
  • One or more cloud certifications covering AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, or CISSP certification.
