Responsibilities
- Design and build multi-agent systems in which autonomous agents collaborate on complex financial business problems.
- Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures, including embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines.
- Implement planning, reasoning, memory, knowledge graph, rule-based reasoning, and search capabilities for reliable multi-step workflows.
- Build resilient agent architectures with error recovery, self-correction, and feedback-driven improvement.
- Integrate large language models, predictive models, and reasoning frameworks into financial decision-making systems.
- Build APIs, tools, and microservices that connect AI capabilities with enterprise applications.
- Optimize systems for low latency and high throughput through streaming, caching, and token-usage optimization.
- Apply current AI research to business challenges and help improve engineering practices.
- Drive AI technical strategy for Funds Transfer Pricing and Financial Hedging domains.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple project teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in software development and system design, including delivery of large-scale production systems.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience building production-quality agentic AI solutions using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent tools.
- Experience developing multi-agent systems with frameworks such as Google ADK, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Experience implementing planning, reasoning, and memory systems.
- Applied knowledge of large language models within agentic architectures, including AI service API integration.
- Advanced Prompt and Context Engineering skills.
- Experience working with vector databases in AI retrieval and memory architectures.
- Financial services experience, particularly in Funds Transfer, Pricing, Hedging, or Treasury technology, is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Java as a secondary programming language is beneficial.
- A Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is beneficial.
