Responsibilities

  • Research and define technical solutions aligned with the CTO’s vision.
  • Guide proofs of concept through production and mentor team members on technologies and practices.
  • Design and build software across the full stack, including code structure, deployment architecture, automated testing, and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams on solution design, roadmaps, and delivery within agreed budgets.
  • Migrate existing polyglot solutions toward standardized Rust and TypeScript and more portable deployment architectures.
  • Develop distributed and asynchronous systems using microservices and messaging.
  • Use LLMs extensively in software delivery and produce clear technical design documents.
  • Share technical learning and strategies across the broader organization.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, including enterprise-level complexity.
  • High proficiency in at least one enterprise-quality programming language and ecosystem, such as C# with .NET or Java with Spring.
  • Experience with a lower-level application or systems language, preferably Rust or alternatively C++.
  • Experience with TypeScript and React or similar frontend frameworks, plus strong web application development knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS, building CI/CD pipelines, and using infrastructure scripting frameworks such as Terraform.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and constructing distributed and asynchronous architectures, including microservices and messaging.
  • Experience using LLMs in place of hand-coding and explaining their impact on delivery speed and system safety.
  • Ability to create concise design documents with LLM assistance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating requirements into technical tasks.
