Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops.
- Design and govern end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central technical architectures.
- Define AL extension, AppSource, custom application, and event-based architecture strategies.
- Architect integrations between Business Central, Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Azure services, Microsoft Fabric, and external business systems.
- Design secure and scalable data integration patterns using Azure services.
- Lead technical solution reviews, code governance, performance optimization, and scalability initiatives.
- Define development standards, branching strategies, release management, and DevOps processes.
- Support data migration architecture and conversion strategies.
- Participate in pre-sales activities including estimates, architecture reviews, technical demonstrations, Statements of Work, and solution planning.
- Mentor developers and consultants and contribute to technical practice development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
- 5+ years designing enterprise ERP technical architectures.
- Experience delivering multiple full-lifecycle Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects.
- Deep expertise in AL development, extensions, AppSource applications, Business Central APIs, Web Services, and Azure Integration Services.
- Experience designing Business Central integrations with external applications.
- Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps methodologies, including Azure DevOps, Git, automated deployments, and testing frameworks.
- Experience producing technical design documents, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, data migration designs, and release deployment plans.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Azure certifications, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Copilot Studio, AI-powered business solutions, AppSource development, multi-company or multi-currency ERP, distributed team leadership, and ERP transformation consulting experience are preferred.
