Base Salary
$135k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain DevOps tooling, automation, and infrastructure workflows.
- Stand up and manage bare-metal or on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, and configuration-as-code patterns.
- Debug complex system and integration issues across services, middleware, and data layers.
- Develop primarily Python-based scripts and tools for automation, CI/CD, and integration tasks.
- Support service integrations and reliability involving databases and middleware technologies.
- Follow SDLC practices including documentation, testing, code reviews, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, deployments, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Require 6–8 years of strong DevOps experience with excellent debugging and integration skills.
- Require solid Python development skills; familiarity with Go, Rust, or C++ is a plus.
- Require understanding of middleware, service communication patterns, SQL and NoSQL databases, time-series databases, event-driven architectures, scalable systems, Kubernetes lifecycle and administration, and infrastructure-as-code or configuration-management tools.
- Require proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
- Require strong SDLC discipline, engineering rigor, and attention to detail.
- Prefer experience writing and maintaining Helm charts, working with containers and package registries, and using secure SDLC and software supply-chain practices.
- Prefer experience with observability stacks for metrics, logging, and tracing, and designing GitOps-based continuous delivery patterns using ArgoCD or Flux.
