Responsibilities
- Contribute to and update technical documentation and educational content based on product changes and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
- Write, review, test, integrate, and release product or system development code.
- Design secure software connecting guest virtualized and host hypervisor environments and optimize features running on Google’s hardware stack.
- Build infrastructure that automatically measures performance and detects regressions at scale.
- Run a small, autonomous team of two to three people on infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with unmanaged languages such as Rust, C, or C++.
- Preferred: experience with Python or Go.
- Preferred: experience with concurrency, multithreading, and synchronization.
