Responsibilities
- Build and implement AI agents and AI architecture within AWS-based CI/CD workflows.
- Develop production-ready LLM and Generative AI applications using Python.
- Design and maintain RAG pipelines using SageMaker, Lambda, vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval components.
- Develop MCP servers and integrate approved tools, APIs, services, and enterprise data sources.
- Build agentic workflows and autonomous AI agents supporting planning, tool use, context management, and response validation.
- Support LLM-based code generation, code analysis, code fixing, transformation, and remediation workflows.
- Integrate AI solutions with source control, security tools, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and enterprise systems.
- Apply application-security principles to AI architecture, APIs, data flows, prompts, tools, model interactions, and generated code.
- Evaluate reliability, scalability, security, latency, cost, response quality, and operational performance.
- Document architecture, agent behavior, permissions, dependencies, data flows, security controls, and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, security, architecture, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of overall professional experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, AI engineering, data engineering, or related technology roles.
- At least 3 years of AI experience involving LLMs, Generative AI, Python, RAG pipelines, AI agents, or related application development.
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Bedrock, or similar LLM and Generative AI platforms.
- Strong professional Python experience for AI development, automation, API integration, data processing, testing, and deployment.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines with SageMaker, Lambda, vector databases, embeddings, indexing, similarity search, metadata filtering, and retrieval optimization.
- Experience developing MCP servers, tool integrations, agentic workflows, or autonomous AI agents.
- Good knowledge of AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, and API Gateway, plus experience deploying AI applications in AWS.
- Understanding of application security, secure coding, authentication, authorization, identity and access management, least privilege, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
- Experience integrating AI architecture and agents into CI/CD workflows and applying software development lifecycle practices.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, shell scripting, relational and NoSQL databases, managed vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, model evaluation, tracing, observability, Docker, Kubernetes, security automation, and remediation systems.
- Exposure to GitHub, Jenkins, Harness, Snyk, SonarQube, automated vulnerability scanning, software composition analysis, static analysis, security gates, and DevSecOps.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- AWS, AI, machine learning, cloud architecture, or application-security certifications and relevant training are preferred but not required where equivalent practical experience is demonstrated.
