Responsibilities
- Partner with development teams to secure code and implement application vulnerability scanning using DevSecOps methodologies.
- Create developer guidance, training, repositories, code, and templates demonstrating secure architecture, design, and operational best practices.
- Perform risk-based security design reviews for AAIM deliverables, containerized deployment systems, and LLM-powered products.
- Work with Product Management to align security implementations with business objectives, customer requirements, and SAS security standards.
- Collaborate with security teams to identify tools and processes for the Secure SDLC and promote software security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure applicable security policies and processes are followed in support of secure software development goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in secure software development, secure system architecture and design, or related work.
- Knowledge of securing enterprise-grade containerized compute or container clusters and REST APIs, including OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10 guidance.
- At least 2 years of experience developing or adopting software security patterns and best practices.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Kubernetes, containers, micro-services, SaaS, public and private cloud deployments, ML, GenAI, and MCP/A2A.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or Golang, with the ability to review code or logic and provide prescriptive security guidance.
- Preferred qualifications include active CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, CCSP, or OSCP certification and knowledge of security practices for regulated industries and global privacy frameworks.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
