Responsibilities
- Apply operating-system internals knowledge to detect and prevent emerging cheating techniques.
- Champion Epic’s Linux anti-cheat capabilities.
- Reverse engineer cheats and other malicious software.
- Communicate with internal and external game developers to meet their needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of Epic’s game-security systems.
- Work with anti-cheat data analysts to iterate quickly on new techniques.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of C/C++ in a security environment.
- Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows operating-system internals.
- Familiarity with development and security practices on Linux and Windows.
- Experience debugging and reverse engineering x86-64 binaries.
- Understanding of online multiplayer video game architectures.
- Experience using data analytics to solve, prevent, or monitor problems at scale.
- Understanding of code obfuscation techniques.
