Responsibilities

  • Build Unreal Editor features for cloud-based collaboration workflows.
  • Implement responsive editor experiences that interact with asynchronous and distributed services.
  • Work across editor, networking, storage, revision control, and UX systems.
  • Partner with Product and UX teams to turn ideas into practical, polished editor experiences.
  • Collaborate with backend and infrastructure engineers on features spanning the editor and cloud services.
  • Use modern development practices, including AI-assisted programming, to improve implementation, debugging, and iteration.

Requirements

  • Strong C++ skills and experience working in a large native codebase.
  • Experience building user-facing tools, editor features, and complex interactive workflows.
  • Experience building clients that interact with asynchronous or networked services.
  • Strong understanding of parallelism, networking, latency, and failure handling.
  • Strong understanding of how technical behavior affects user and creator workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, UX, and engineering teams to ship features.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine, another game engine, or comparable tools development.
  • Rust experience is a plus.
