Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or other automation tools.
- Develop, maintain, and migrate Groovy or other scripting-language build scripts.
- Automate, manage, and optimize Jenkins infrastructure for scalability, security, and reliability.
- Maintain and enhance build environments, including deployments, scaling, monitoring, and support for Windows, Linux, and z/OS build nodes.
- Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, artifact publishing and retrieval, dependency versioning, caching, archiving, and cleanup.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, build, and dependency issues to maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployments and performance.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, and code-signing support.
- Maintain Jenkins build nodes and related tools, including compilers and runtime libraries.
- Manage Artifactory repository infrastructure, dependencies, and access, and support release rollout processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expertise with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, scaling, and deployment.
- Strong scripting skills in Groovy or similar languages.
- Solid Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work on complex, less-defined projects and solve problems effectively.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience maintaining build infrastructure, Jenkins build nodes, compilers, and runtime libraries across Windows, Linux, and z/OS.
- Preferred experience with Blackduck, Polaris, code-signing facilities, Artifactory, database management and optimization, observability tools, performance tuning, and security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.
