
Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, debugs, and troubleshoots creative software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Builds secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by other engineers.
- Leads adoption and responsible use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational improvement.
- Establishes validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Identifies and automates recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Leads technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams.
- Provides technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams building native mobile applications.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Combined software and application development experience focused on mobile development.
- Strong Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring diverse teams building native mobile applications.
- Working knowledge of MVVM, MVP, and MVC architectural patterns.
- Experience with Git, Xcode, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, CoreData, Android Studio, Robolectric, Mockito, Espresso, RxJava, Dagger, and Retrofit.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with mobile performance optimization, device-based testing, and mobile platform constraints.
- Working knowledge of multiple programming languages, including Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, and Python.
- Experience consuming and integrating web services in mobile applications.
- Strong communication skills for clarifying requirements with business partners and documenting technical information.
