Responsibilities
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Design and implement iOS and Android mobile applications, including complex front-end solutions and automated testing.
- Make technical decisions affecting product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
- Integrate native mobile capabilities such as camera access, push notifications, GPS, CoreML, and VisionKit.
- Optimize applications for speed, reliability, scalability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with UX designers and advise peers and stakeholders on technology adoption.
- Use and evaluate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation.
- Support Site Reliability Engineering practices and contribute reusable engineering patterns and learnings.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Experience with system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to mobile development.
- Strong knowledge of iOS, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Cocoa, and SwiftUI, plus familiarity with iOS design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, MVP, VIPER, and MVI.
- Experience with mobile security, API integration, Xcode, Git, and source code management.
- Preferred experience with Copilot or related tools, build automation, static and dynamic analysis, threat modeling, technology risk assessment, OAuth, SSO, NFC, and app releases through CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work with cross-functional technology, business, audit, and risk partners.
