Responsibilities
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Make decisions affecting product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
- Advise peers and project stakeholders on adopting new technologies.
- Use and evaluate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation.
- Develop iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C and Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Build complex mobile front-end solutions, automated tests, and integrations with native device capabilities.
- Collaborate with UX designers to prototype and implement user-facing features.
- Optimize mobile applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Support Site Reliability Engineering practices and system performance.
- Guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to mobile development.
- Strong knowledge of iOS, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Cocoa, and SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with iOS design patterns including MVVM, MVC, MVP, VIPER, and MVI.
- Experience integrating Camera, Push Notifications, GPS, CoreML, and VisionKit.
- Understanding of mobile application security, including device registration, biometrics, encryption, and data protection.
- Experience with API integration, Xcode, Git, and software development practices.
- Preferred: experience with Copilot or related tools, build automation, static and dynamic analysis, technology risk assessment, threat modeling, cross-functional collaboration, OAuth, SSO, NFC, and app releases through CI/CD pipelines.
