Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency, low-jitter networking solutions for large-scale AI training infrastructure.
- Benchmark, analyze, and improve networking system scalability and reliability for petabyte-scale data transfers.
- Debug and resolve complex networking issues in large-scale, high-performance environments.
- Identify dependencies and produce design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual, guide other engineers, monitor systems on call, and coordinate responses to degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale while adapting to new AI trends and technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and at least 2 years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 4+ years of experience, or a master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
