Base Salary
$106k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build backend product capabilities, API surfaces, and authentication flows for the Stytch identity platform.
- Develop authentication, authorization, agentic identity, and non-human identity use cases.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to set direction and deliver roadmap features.
- Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams on architecture, platform integration, and cross-team initiatives.
- Author design documents, drive technical decisions, review code, and maintain ownership of shipped systems.
- Improve production quality and resilience through observability, incident response, and remediation.
- Mentor and support engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing, building, and operating high-scale, mission-critical cloud production systems.
- Familiarity with a production-grade codebase in a modern programming language and high-quality coding practices.
- Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related industry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to participate in non-standard hours, including an on-call rotation with weekend and holiday coverage.
- Preferred familiarity with Go, TypeScript, and DynamoDB.
- Preferred experience building developer tools or SDKs and owning products used by paying customers.
