Base Salary

$106k - $156k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build backend product capabilities, API surfaces, and authentication flows for the Stytch identity platform.
  • Develop authentication, authorization, agentic identity, and non-human identity use cases.
  • Partner with product and engineering leadership to set direction and deliver roadmap features.
  • Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams on architecture, platform integration, and cross-team initiatives.
  • Author design documents, drive technical decisions, review code, and maintain ownership of shipped systems.
  • Improve production quality and resilience through observability, incident response, and remediation.
  • Mentor and support engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience designing, building, and operating high-scale, mission-critical cloud production systems.
  • Familiarity with a production-grade codebase in a modern programming language and high-quality coding practices.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to participate in non-standard hours, including an on-call rotation with weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Preferred familiarity with Go, TypeScript, and DynamoDB.
  • Preferred experience building developer tools or SDKs and owning products used by paying customers.
