Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the platform powering safe, reliable, and automated deployments across Cloudflare.
- Develop capabilities for progressive deployments, health-mediated rollouts, release safety, and automated release workflows.
- Build backend systems and frontend widgets for the Deploy@Scale and Release Manager platforms.
- Implement internal tools, processes, instrumentation, and methodologies that improve deployment reliability and observability.
- Contribute to planning, development, and execution of projects with tight deadlines and short release cycles.
- Participate in on-call support outside standard working hours as needed.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience on meaningfully complex systems.
- Experience building both backend systems and frontend widgets.
- Ability to contribute to planning, development, and execution while delivering predictably against commitments.
- Experience implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, and methodologies.
- Comfort working on projects with tight deadlines and short release cycles.
- Strong verbal and written English language skills.
